Sourced from wild harvested lichen, the plant-based vitamin D in this formula is in the natural form (cholecalciferol) and is better absorbed and utilized by the body. The lichen vitamin D3 is harvested and extracted in a sustainable manner and carefully processed to ensure optimum purity and stability. Lichens are small, unique composite organisms formed by a symbiotic and closely interacting relationship between fungi and algae.
